Jayden Lee, Brandeis Campus ‘27

Lee is a versatile forward with a high motor and a soft touch. Active on both ends of the floor and scored at all three levels in our recent win Bring Your Game Not Your Name.

Expect a big senior year from Lee.

Andrew Jenkins, Eagle Academy BK ‘27

Jenkins’ high IQ was on full display Bring Your Game Not Your Name. Poised ball handler with a knack for slicing through defenses and he set the tone defensively too.

The New Rochelle HS transfer is bound to be a fixture for Eagle Academy BK this season.

Mekhi Robertson is off the board, committing to Merrimack.

The electric guard turned heads at the 5th Annual Gotham Hoops Classic in 2024. As just a freshman, Robertson used his elite athleticism and explosiveness to blow by defenders and finish above the rim.

The New Jersey native will wrap up his high school career at The Master’s Academy International (MA) during the 2026–27 season.

A quintessential pickup for Coach Joey Gallo and the Warriors. Robertson is a high-flying playmaker with the size, speed, and skill set to make an immediate impact at the Division I level.

Gotham Hoops alumni in the NBA Finals.

Scott King is an assistant coach with the San Antonio Spurs heading into Game 1 tonight. He came through our Invitational as an assistant in 2015 and returned as head coach in 2018, went on to win G League Coach of the Year with the Austin Spurs, and earned his spot on an NBA bench this season.

Ryan Oliver played four years at Siena before suiting up in the 3rd Annual Invitational in 2016. He spent the last four years with the Spurs as Player Development Assistant and Video Coordinator. He’s slated to join the Pepperdine men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.

Wishing Scott and Ryan all the best in the Finals!

“You learn more from your losses than you do your wins.”

Tough loss in the quarterfinals at IS8 this past weekend but still a lot to be proud of.

Furthest Team Gotham Hoops has advanced in this tournament over the years. Won 4 consecutive games to make it to the final weekend before running into No. 1 seed Team Diffrent, who went on to win the championship.

Congrats to JJ Addison on earning IS8 All Tournament Team honors. Well deserved.

With 24 total players suiting up for us over the course of the tournament, developing continuity was an issue but not an excuse. Two dozen players who didn’t have to show up, did.

Unsure what’s next for Team Gotham Hoops, but grateful for every moment of it.

Survive and Advance.

Yesterday was one of the best games I’ve been a part of. A 9am matchup in the IS8 playoffs against a tough Level Up / Beacon Elite squad is no walk in the park.

We fought back and forth, trading the lead for most of the game before entering the 4th quarter with a 7-point advantage. The lead soon vanished and we found ourselves down late before fighting back to tie it up. A missed attempt at the buzzer sent this one to overtime.

We strung together enough stops and scores in the extra period to hold on for the 91-88 win.

In a complete team effort, it was Corey Baylor Jr. (team-high 26 points / Phelps School / Bowdoin College commit) and JJ Addison (17 points) of Wings Academy who led the way for Team Gotham Hoops. Both were clutch when we needed it most.

Seniors Chiekh Diouf-Bamba (Brooklyn Collegiate) and Geremyah Shaw-Glen (LuHi) scored 16 and 9 points, respectively. Junior standout Richard Fernandez of St. John’s Prep added 13 points in the hard fought win.

Quarterfinals. This Saturday. IS8.

On Saturday I had the opportunity to coach Team NYC in this year’s Rising Stars Classic.

Jump started the event with a comeback win over Team Long Island. standout Christian Hinestroza (.chris) stole the show with a clutch 4th quarter takeover to seal the win.

Shout out to the rest of the team for showing out. Special thanks and .media for having me on the sidelines.
