A model and athlete turned entrepreneur, Claire is a style chameleon, inspirational force, and rock of stability for anyone who needs it. Her home organization expertise creates brand new systemization and clutter-free energy flow. She is also a valiant shopper who spent her childhood in department stores and vintage shops every weekend with her grandmothers, mastering the fundamentals of finding
high quality items below retail cost. Claire grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Daughter of a professor and teacher, and alumni of Prep for Prep, Poly Prep Country Day School, and Wesleyan University, she was on a corporate track. But as a lover of aesthetics she did a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies, modeled for one year, and then moved to Nigeria, completing a Master of Arts in the study of African Visual Arts while there. Immediately upon return to the US, she became a singer and continued to model, working for clients like Nike, Essence, Glamour, Interview, Io Donna, Playtex and Puma while also working with artists like John Legend, Carly Simon, Talib Kweli, Ben Taylor, Mos Def, Luther Vandross, and the Marley Family. She also worked behind the scenes for entertainment, finance, and wellness companies like MTV, Milk Studios, MediaVest, D. Shaw & Co., Soho Sanctuary, and Integrated Studios, most often as an Executive Assistant. She dresses anyone for any lifestyle. At the end of 2013, just after beginning the Fashion Institute of Technology Image Consulting program, and four days after being let go from a corporate job, she was hired by a successful venture capitalist in the digital space to manage projects and organize his business life. Happily able to work remotely for two years, she traveled in Europe, across the US, and throughout the Caribbean, in love with entrepreneurship. In summer of 2014 she posted on Facebook one day to 4,000 people about her pursuit to become an Image Consultant and was met with enthusiastic support, with people signing up immediately to be clients. Now with a growing client base, she continues to work, using a small staff when needed. Claire also holds seminars on transformation and volunteers to speak to teens about professional and formal dress. Claire believes that acquiring balance in all things is an art. In her busy native New York City she maintains spiritual balance with daily meditation, music, exercise, travel, and genuine relationships.
