The 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 recently reported that military officials intentionally excluded President Trump from the command room during a high‑stakes rescue operation because they feared his erratic behavior could jeopardize the mission.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗻-𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆.

This man is not well. He’s unfit for the office of President of the United States. And something bad is going to happen on American soil if we don’t take action.

I’ve spent my career holding powerful actors accountable — as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and as lead counsel on the impeachment investigation into President Trump — and I know that we can’t wait for a disaster to take action. Defending our democracy means taking action before it collapses, not after.

In 2007 I was going to have my second arthroscopic knee surgery. A friend suggested trying Pilates. I did it for 6 months at a studio and felt so much better that I cancelled my surgery. It changed my body and my mind!
