Did you know that Guy Health is like your 2nd Brain!? Your guy heath connects to your entire body and affects you both mentally and physically! Starting Thursday I will starting a 4-week Gut Health diet and exercise program designed to help discover my Gut Health! Last year I unexpectedly had to have my Galbladder removed and since then digestion has been very difficult for me to figure out! My doctor recently placed me on a high fiber diet, which is working but I know I’m still not doing the best I can for my digestion. So when I heard that Autumn Calabrese from beachbody was having gut issues as well and developed this program, I immediately was intrigued!

Follow me for day-by-day diets, tips that I’m learning, as well as some quick low impact workouts for the next four weeks! I’m determined to resolve my Gut Health issues and have answers once and for all!

Tell me, have any of you experienced digestive issues? Message me and follow me starting this Thursday! We can improve ourselves together!

“Feel compliments as deeply as you feel insults”

This quote really took me back a little. I mean I never stopped to realize how accurate this really is! If I look back at how often I was complimented from friends, family, teachers, random interactions…I definitely appreciated it and embraced it, but if I was insulted or criticize…that’s a whole other level with me! I take criticizing and insults much more to heart then I do compliments. I let it ruin my entire day!!! But as my mom always says! “Don’t stress over things you can’t control!”

Lately, My husband and I have been working at showing our appreciation more towards one another, not just with actions, but more importantly with words followed by actions. Let me tell you, I have been taking those words and actions deeply to heart. Todays world is so crazy busy and seems to be going by faster than normal that I’m sure some of you blink and the month is over and stop and think where did that month go? What did I accomplish? We accomplish amazing things everyday! We just take this life that we have for granted in so many ways, that we forget to stop and appreciate the little things. Like gallons Al see next to your love one, kissing your kids goodnight and good morning, waking up, eating 3 meals a day, talking to a friend or family member, doing nice things for one another. I could go on.

Here’s my challenge for all my followers today!

Compliment every one you talk to today! If you receive a compliment back. Sit back and embrace it! Deeply enjoy it and compliment yourself for receiving it! Love yourself!

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

Hubby and I are in the mood for a reboot! What better way to kickstart our bodies back on the right path to eating healthy and fueling our body with the proper nutrition than the 3-day refresh!! Just 3 days of super clean eating and shakes to get our bodies back on the right path!

Life gets busy! Life gets stressful! As humans we typically lean on food as a clutch to get us through these difficult days or times. Then a couple days of bad eating turns into weeks, weeks turn into months!

Let’s keep the new year going strong! Whose with us!?

Building Self Confidence is not an easy thing to do or maintain. It takes hard work, accountability, dedication and so much more. I’ve learned over the years of dealing with life in general, good days and bad days, being pregnant, raising kids, fluctuating weight loss and gains, finding time to workout, work a full time job, etc. It’s easy to get stressed out, battle with anxiety, and develop bad habits, take out your frustrations on loved ones. We are all guilty of it! Especially during COVID times.

Over the holidays, I took a break from social media for a couple of days to focus on my marriage, my kids and myself. Days will continue to come and go, but you only get one chance at life. One chance at watching your kids grow and develop. One chance at everything!

That’s why I’m going to take this life and live it to the fullest! For the month of February, I’m going to do the following:

*20 minute workouts
*eat healthy
*spend every Saturday phone free - meaning putting my phone away and spending the day with my family and off of social media.
*dedicate one night a week to family game night
*try to have a date night with my husband at least once a week!

The 20 minute workouts that I will be doing are with Super Trainer Jennifer Jacobs new Beachbody program JOB 1!

In order to make sure my nutrition stays on point for these 28 days, I will be meal prepping while incorporating Arbonne’s 30-day Healthy Living program!

I will be posting everyday (except for Saturdays) to be held accountable and to share my experience with all of you!

Obviously, these goals that I set are geared to me personally, with the exceptions of the workouts and healthy eating!

So message me if you are experiencing a lack of self confidence and I can help you come up with some realistic personal goals that would best suit your personal needs and we can hold each other accountable!

Interested in the workout program? Message me!

Interested in the 30-day heathy living? Message me!

Let’s help each other!

Quote of the day, “the truth isn’t always beauty, but the hunger for it is.”

It’s human nature to want the truth. As much as it hurts, it helps you learn, helps you grow. Sometimes it what you need to hear in order to make the correct decision or choice. The truth can be scary and hard to tell. But it’s important to remember that the truth is important. Especially in today’s world with all of this technology and social media. It’s extremely difficult to tell what’s real and what’s fake. The news, celebrities, family and friends. We all are guilty of posting and contributing to these platforms whether we are speaking the truth or not. The important thing to remember is lies can hurt, but they hurt more then the truth. The truth can be forgiven and overcome, can be used as a life lesson, whereas lying can have that effect to but it’s a lot harder to forgive and over come.

It’s also harder to overcome in order to live our daily lives! Masks or no masks…vaccine or no vaccine… booster or no booster… political or not political…Instagram vs. reality…etc the list goes on. People post their views and opinions and most the news, but what’s real vs. what’s fake? It’s troubling! (This is not a political post and no discussion or opinions will be tolerated…they will be deleted)

So don’t believe everything you hear or see. Last night I took a break from all technology. Probably the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time.

I encourage everyone, especially for the holidays, put your phones down, stay off social media. Be present! Be in the moment! Make memories! Take a break! Especially now, take a freaking break from crazy world we live in! Sit and talk with loved ones and play family board games! Enjoy your life! There nothing most honest and true then spending time with your loved ones!

Remember time is the one of the many things are FREE in the world, but it is the wasted and we can’t get it back!

Quote of the day, “Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive.”

I truly believe that everyone we meet in our life is for a reason. Whether or not they stay in lives is a lesson that we learn. I’m so grateful for the people that I have met and for the people that I have established beautiful, lifelong friendships with. I cherish all of the friendships!

Happy Sunday!

Today your challenge, should you choose to accept (trust me, you should😉) is to lay down in a quiet room for 100 seconds and just breathe. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breathe for 4 second and breathe out for 8 seconds.

Trust me this is one you will enjoy and it goes by so fast!

“Do not fear mistakes, there are none.”

Happy Friday Everyone! We made it through another week! This quote really stood out to me today. In this very terrifying and uncertain world we currently live in, we are sometimes forced to make difficult choices that we can only hope will be the right one.

My husband and I made an extremely difficult decision to cancel my (soon-to-be) 4 year old’s birthday, that was supposed to be held in an indoor trampoline play place. With the rise of COVID and risk of potential exposure right before seeing family for the holidays and most importantly for our own families health and concerns, tomorrow will be my son’s second COVID birthday🥺.

It breaks my heart because he was so excited to celebrate with us friends! I truly believe that one saving grace is he will be able to celebrate with some of his friends today at school! And the whole weekend he will be surrounded by family hopefully a couple close friends to celebrate his big day!

I was up all night contemplating if I made the right decision and waking up this morning to this quote after doing some yoga to calm down, I think this my grandma’s way and god’s way of telling me that we made the right decision for my family. He will have plenty more birthdays and each one will be special in their own way! This year will be better then last years!

So to keep in mind when you feel something in your stomach and you’re questioning something, trust your instincts and run with it. Not everyone will agree with you or even support you and they may even get upset with you, but keep in mind that you only get one chance at this life, so live it the way you want to live it!

Because when we all leave this world, you don’t want to wonder “if” people will remember you, but “how” they will remember you.

There are no mistakes, just our own choices. So make everyday count!

Love you all! Happy Friday!!

Fit Moms don’t have time, they MAKE time!

100%!!

I get asked a lot, how do you do it where do you find the time?!

Well, I don’t have time! But as my extremely intelligent mother taught me, follow the 5-second rule! If you want to do something, just get up and do it, 5…4…3…2…1 GO! Don’t think about it or think about what else you need to get to that day! If you want a coffee from Starbucks, you go get it right? If you want to order that sweater or those boots, you order it right? Well if you can find time to do those simple things, you find time to better yourself!

So what are you waiting for??? Get up and Let’s GO!
