❤️ END-OF-YEAR CAMPAIGN:
HELP US CHANGE LIVES & SAVE LIVES ❤️

Family and friends, I’m reaching out to you personally because I believe some things are simply too important to do alone.

Over the years, God has allowed me to witness something powerful: people can change. Families can be restored. Addicted men and women can find freedom. Prisoners can find hope. And people who once thought their lives were over can discover that God isn’t finished with them yet.

That is why I’m launching my End-of-Year Campaign and asking you to prayerfully consider partnering with me.

This isn’t simply about raising money.

It’s about raising hope.
It’s about reaching the hurting.
It’s about restoring families.
It’s about helping people find recovery, faith, purpose and a reason to live.

Through the Recovery House of Worship and the ministry opportunities God continues to open, we are working to bring faith-based recovery, discipleship, coaching and hope to people who desperately need it.

And I need partners who believe in the mission.

🙏 Would you consider making an end-of-year gift?

Whether you can give $25, $50, $100, $500—or become a monthly ministry partner, every gift matters.

You may never meet the person your gift helps.

You may never know the family that gets restored.

You may never hear the story of the person who chooses recovery instead of relapse.

But God will know.

And one day, someone may be alive, free, clean, sober, restored and serving God because you decided to partner with this mission.

One gift can become someone else’s turning point.

If you believe in what God is doing through this ministry, please consider partnering with me during this End-of-Year Campaign.

❤️ PRAY. GIVE. SHARE. PARTNER.

And please share this post with someone who believes that people are worth fighting for.

Thank you for believing in me, believing in this mission, and most importantly, believing that God can transform a life.

“Let us not become weary in doing good…” — Galatians 6:9

TRUTH FOR TODAY by John MacArthur

August 8 Repentance Not Optional

Repent, and believe in the gospel.
Mark 1:15

If you want to enter the narrow gate
you must repent.

Many Jews during Jesus’ time believed that just being physical descendants of Abraham was sufficient for entrance into heaven.

And many people today believe that simply being churchgoers or morally good people qualifies them for salvation.

After all, they reason,
God is too benevolent to exclude anyone
but the most evil people.

God does desire that everyone enter the narrow gate because He is

“not willing that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance”
(2 Pet. 3:9).

But you will not pass through the narrow gate unless you follow Charles Spurgeon’s admonition:

“You and your sins must separate
or you and your God will never come together.

No one sin may you keep;
they must all be given up,
they must be brought out like Canaanite kings from the cave and be hanged up in the sun.”

What an incredible group!!!

I want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to an amazing class of Recovery Coaches. It was truly an honor and privilege to spend time with each of you.

Your passion, your willingness to learn, and your hearts to serve were inspiring.

I have no doubt that your personal experiences, along with the knowledge and skills you’ve gained will help transform many lives, strengthen many families, and bring hope to many people who desperately need it.

The world needs more people who are willing to walk alongside others on their journey to recovery and that’s exactly what you’ve chosen to do.

Congratulations on taking this important step. I can’t wait to see where God takes you next!

If you’ve ever felt called to help others overcome addiction, alcoholism, support people in recovery, or make a lasting difference in your community, maybe it’s time for you to become a Recovery Coach too.

YOUR PAST IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY

Addiction often convinces people that their worst moments define them.

“You failed.”

“You ruined everything.”

“You will never change.”

Those voices are powerful.

But they are not truth.

Your mistakes are part of your story.

They are not the author of your story.

A person in recovery is not:

A former addict.

A failure.

A lost cause.

They are someone who survived something difficult and has the opportunity to become something greater.

The same experiences that once caused shame can become the very things God uses to bring hope to someone else.

Your scars can become someone else’s roadmap.

Reflection Question:

What lesson did your hardest season teach you?

I want to personally invite you, your family, and your friends to our Recovery House of Worship (RHOW) gathering on Zoom.

Have you ever found yourself asking:

Why do I keep going back to what keeps hurting me?
Why is it so difficult to let go of a relationship, a habit, a resentment, or a painful chapter of my life?
Why do I know what I need to do… but still can’t seem to do it?

There is an old saying:

“If you’re not willing to let go…
you’ll get dragged.”

For many of us, that’s exactly what happened.

We’ve been dragged into addiction…
Dragged into toxic relationships…
Dragged into bitterness…
Dragged into depression…
Dragged into fear…
Dragged into a relapse…
Dragged farther from the life God created us to live.

How many tears have been shed because we held on long after God was asking us to release it?

How many relationships did we stay in long after their expiration date?

How many dreams have died because we were afraid to let go of what was familiar, even when it was destroying us?

This Sunday, we’ll talk honestly about why letting go feels so difficult… and how letting go and letting God can become the beginning of healing, freedom, and a brand-new future.

If your heart is tired…
If your soul feels heavy…
If you’re ready for freedom but don’t know where to begin…

This message is for you. “When Holding On Hurts”
