Swim With Rick swimming lesson for all ages. 35 years experience. Hi I started this page for my swimming friends and clients. Now I am an independent instructor.

I've been swimming for 35 years, teaching for 25+ years. I have worked and trained with Dr. Jane Katz, author of "Swimming for Total Fitness" and "The Wet Workout". I have worked for several swim schools around new York City. When you swim with Rick you only swim with Rick. I hope my swimming friends and clients enjoy this page. My six-year-old son began swimming lessons with Rick almost a year ago, and it has made a tremendous difference! We tried other programs and instructors, but he did not get over his anxiety about jumping in the water and getting his head wet until he started with Rick. In just a few lessons Rick had him happily jumping in the water, having fun, and in just a couple of months, really swimming! Now swimming is his favorite thing, he can't wait to go for his lessons. Rick is wonderful at 'reading' kids, knowing how to push them just out of their comfort zones so they keep moving ahead, and master new skills. And he always makes sure the kids have fun. My son is so proud of the progress he has made, and Rick made it happen. He is a real pro with deep experience to draw on, I recommend him to every parent I know.
