“Happiness is an inside out job” was the thought that lingered in my head today as I got ready for a branding shoot today for a couple of new business projects I’m working on.

As the photographer said to me “I just love how you smile.” And as I smiled into the camera, I realized happiness from the inside shows outside

I realized how…

Happiness is an inside out thing. It is….

Knowing it’s going to be HARD but doing it anyways

Knowing external validation is for others and moving away from it

Knowing you are worthy and believing in your value

Knowing societal expectations don’t drive happiness, they drive compliance

Knowing where I came from, and being content with it

Knowing exactly where I’m going, and seeing the path in front of me

Knowing it’s not going to be EASY but doing it anyways

It makes me so happy to be of service to others, that I get to make a difference in people’s lives and I get to make a difference in the world.

Life changes and change is part of it but…. I’ve so much good around me and so much good to offer. AND THAT MAKES ME HAPPY!

California dump… so grateful for the warm sunkissed moments I’ve had in the golden state the past few weeks ❤️❤️❤️😍

In this post you’ll see…

⭐️ Me embracing my roots and celebrating my humble beginnings. The simple life my parents live and how that simplicity reflects in me and sometimes works to my advantage and mostly against my pursuits. But that is where my work ethic, my hustle, my grit and my empathy originates from. That’s why I want to change the storyline for myself and for others who come after me.

⭐️ How much I miss the warmth that radiates from the love of family. How it warms my soul. There is no Chicken Soup for the Soul that can come close to competing with it.

⭐️ How much I miss my mom’s cooking! And yes I indulged these past two trips and I’m not regretting it.

⭐️ How I was spoiled on my birthday….

⭐️ Amazing memories I made with my ultimate BFF my sis- Amber and my school friends.

⭐️ Taking a beauty lesson with my sister in law at Sephora (I’ve been wanting to take this lesson for a while. Soooo glad I finally did it).

⭐️ How running makes me so happy… Even rainbows show up to make my runs beautiful. And they remind me how lucky I am.

⭐️ My boys, my pride. How I love seeing them grow into wonderful adults.

In a recent media interview the host asked me, “have you ever have to unlearn a lesson?” I smiled and said more lessons than I can list during this interview 😀 but the most important one is “ There is only one way to success.”

There is no one way. We all are unique and we all carve our paths to success. The goal is to align your work with your values and what makes you come alive.

Thanks magazine for highlighting my story. It definitely set the tone for 2026 🎉.
