If your athlete has ever replayed a loss in their head⊠this matters
Dear Parents & Coaches,
Youth sports today are not the same as they used to be.
An athlete can win a matchâŠ
and itâs clipped, posted, and replayed.
They can lose a matchâŠ
and it lives on a highlight page, in a group chat, or on their own phone.
Over and over again.
That didnât exist before.
Today, pressure starts earlier.
Comparison starts earlier.
Expectations start earlier.
And most young athletes arenât prepared for that yet.
At ages 8â10, weâre not fixing confidence.
Weâre building it.
Because if they donât learn how to handle pressure now, it shows up as:
Hesitation
Overthinking
Freezing in matches
This is where parents matter most.
Youâre not just supporting their sport.
Youâre helping insulate and prepare them for a completely different environment than we grew up in.
And thatâs why mental performance training today isnât optional.
Itâs part of development.
This isnât therapy.
Itâs not motivation.
Itâs training:
How to stay focused
How to reset
How to compete freely
So they can keep the sport fun, stay confident, and actually reach their potential later on.
Because too many athletes burn out or quit by 12â13.
Not from lack of ability.
From lack of tools.
This is where that changes.
DM âSUMMERâ and Iâll send you the details.
