Few players have left a mark on disc golf like Juliana Korver.
A five-time PDGA World Champion with 293 career wins, Korver also won four WFDF World Overall Flying Discs Championships, competing across multiple flying-disc disciplines. She competed in the MPO field at the USDGC in 2000, finishing 37th, then returned in 2001 to become the first and only woman to cash at the event. Her career is defined not only by the championships she won, but by the barriers she broke along the way.
As the Professional Disc Golf Association celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re looking back at the players and organizers who helped shape the world of professional disc golf.
