Update on our player who was injured…

Our teammate suffered a severe concussion and a fracture in a vertebrae in his back, both which should heal on its own.

Thank you for all the messages and prayers from everyone, our buddy should be ok soon.

We are asking for prayers for one of our own.

Please pray for one of our players who was injured on the football field tonight in our game tonight. He was flown to Charleston for further evaluation and we will update whenever we find out. Thank you all.

Thank you to Westside High School for their help and checking in on him, their fans, Zac Butcher and his crew for handling the situation great, and everyone for their prayers. We may be rivals on the field, but when someone is hurt, we don’t care about that. The kids are all we care about.

🚨 Schedule Change

Our game originally scheduled for Friday September 11th has been moved to Saturday, September 12th at 4:00.

We want to thank you for all your support so far. The outcomes may not have gone the way we would have liked, but these boys are playing hard for us and you and need your support. See y’all on Saturday. 🏈

We're continuing our 2026 Fresh Off The Clock Southern WV Preseason Position Rankings with the Top 5 Edges in Southern WV!

📌Before we begin, a few things:
These rankings are meant to create conversation and highlight athletes across our region.

📌We know we're going to miss players. We know we're going to make mistakes. That's part of covering some many counties and thousands of athletes.

📌If you believe a player was left off a list, drop their name, school, and Hudl link in the comments. We'll review every nomination and corrections or adjustments can absolutely be made.

📌No negative comments about players, coaches, schools, or communities will be tolerated. Healthy debates and respectful discussions are welcome. Personal attacks are not.

📌Rankings are based on film, production, accolades, projections, and information available to us at the time of posting.

📌Coaches, players, and fans are encouraged to nominate athletes throughout the series. The more information we receive, the better these rankings become.

For Wyoming East Students first…

The Warrior Football Team is looking volunteers who would like to help in various ways in practice and on game days. These volunteers will get free entry into every game and receive a complementary hot dog and pop.

We need help with the following…

Up in the press box….
- Announcing
- Working the scoreboard
- Assisting with our stats during game
- Videoing

On the field…
- Help get water during timeouts
- Help get any equipment ready

A huge thank you to all of our Warrior parents who brought in food and supplies for today’s cookout and Media Day! We had a great day filled with good food, great people, and FOOTBALL!

The Warriors travel to Greenbrier East High School to take on Pocahontas County in our first scrimmage of the season.
