Bourbon Mill Beach Bums This is a FREE pick-up ADVANCED volleyball league for players to socialize and have fun. We play at the Bourbon Mill every Thursday starting at 6:30pm.

For advanced play you must know, the rules, positions, terms, able to serve, pass, and hit.

Update: weather is improving so Christine and Stan will try to make it.

Weather looks a bit chilly, and the sand will probably still be wet from today’s rain, so nothing official is planned for advanced volleyball for tomorrow. If people still want to organize a group and give it a try, you are more than welcome! Just remember to bring a ball.
As of now, the following Thursday looks really good, so stay tuned for future updates! 🌞

It was a great night of volleyball at the Bourbon Mill last evening. We had some extremely competitive games and even a few serves that went higher than the jet stream! If you didn’t come out, you missed a great time. Everyone enjoyed the freshly tilled sand on both courts. We will keep an eye on the weather for future weeks, as we are fast approaching our official season opener!!

17 people showed up tonight for some early volleyball! This was a good start. I know more will be showing up in the next few weeks. The Mill is still working on the electrical and lights so we can play later. Over the winter a squirrel did a number on the wiring on the deck! So be patient!

Well it was a difficult decision but we have to put this Advanced Volleyball season to a close. Getting dark earlier and earlier plus colder and colder. It was a fantastic year for sure! Hope to see all of you next year!

Don’t forget about the indoor season at the South Hanover YMCA.
