Any item that facilitates the usage of arms in defense or offense is protected by the 2nd Amendment
Reminder: A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, The Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED
There is absolutely nothing contained within the 2nd Amendment which allows the government or the courts to take a subjective position on what arms, they as our lord and masters can decide we are worthy of possessing
The 2nd Amendment says nothing about exceptions for "modest burdens" aka infringements.
In the founding era there was no distinction or limitations of what our Founding Fathers considered which were to be restricted as "dangerous and unusual" As a matter of fact, colonists possessed 50 caliber muskets that could remove a limb or often keep a cannon on their front lawn that would fire 3 pounder, 6 pounder, or 9 pounder in defense of liberty
As God as my witness, I am going to revive the 2nd Amendment as a truly Constitutionally Protected Right.
