This isn’t a tennis photo. It doesn’t have anything to do with forehands or backhands. Nor is it a tribute to a great former Bama QB.
It’s about discipline. Drive. Desire. The willingness to do the hard things when you don’t want to or you’re too tired. It’s about believing in yourself when no one else does. It’s about getting up when you’ve been knocked down. It’s about trusting the process and taking steps forward every day, even when it’s hard.
No, Jalen isn’t a tennis player. He is, however, the perfect example of believing in yourself and not listening to the naysayers. He is an example of not focusing on rankings/numbers/stats. He chooses to focus on his journey. His process. His progress. His ability.
And I think you should too. Believe in you. Believe in your ability. Focus on things you can control... every point, every set, every match.
