We’re so quick to extend grace to others—to understand, to forgive, to soften. But when it comes to ourselves? That’s where it gets tricky.

Self-grace isn’t about letting yourself off the hook. It’s about recognizing that growth takes time, that mistakes don’t define you, and that you’re just as deserving of kindness as anyone else.

Healthy intellectual boundaries are about respect—respect for your own thoughts and beliefs, and respect for others’. But here’s the thing: not every opinion deserves space in your life.

Disagreeing is one thing. Being shut down, dismissed, or forced into conversations that are harmful? That’s something else entirely. You are not obligated to engage in discourse with someone who is violating you or others. Period.

Knowing the difference between healthy discussion and harmful rhetoric is a skill—and setting boundaries around it is self-respect. ♡ Jaclyn

Setting boundaries isn’t about being harsh or defensive—it’s about honesty with yourself first, and then with others. You can say what you need, ask for what you want, and hold your limits without guilt or apology. And you can do it all without being mean.

The other day, I had a realization that surprised me. In a conversation about imposter syndrome, I realized I’m not feeling it right now. Despite making bold moves into a field I have zero experience in, my inner critic isn’t screaming at me. She’s quiet. And I think I know why…

I trust myself. I trust that even if I fail, it won’t break me—it will teach me. I trust my community. This past year has shown me just how deeply I’m supported.
And most of all, I trust the Divine. The breadcrumbs have been laid down in front of me, and I’ve been following them without fear.

That’s how I found myself here—writing a post to tell you that my art is now in a gallery.

I’ve been calling my creative journey because that’s exactly what it is.

The process begins with a found image—often from a magazine or book—and unfolds organically as I piece elements together.

But it goes beyond the collages themselves. I’m following the breadcrumbs, trusting that each step forward brings me closer to where I’m meant to be.

If you’d told me a year ago that my “quirky little collages” would end up in a gallery, I would have laughed. But sometimes the dreams you wouldn’t let yourself dream find a way of coming true.

So here I am, sharing this milestone with you, my wildly supportive community. You’ve cheered me on through countless leaps of faith, and I trust you will support me here too.

More than anything, I hope this serves as a reminder to trust your own path, even when it feels scary. To take the next step, even when you can’t fully see the way forward.
