We lost our beloved girl Josie last night. All of us James Daphne Alex at her side helping her get to the rainbow bridge. I was trying to think of how to best verbalize how much this dog meant to us and I remembered how much our lives have changed in the decade plus she was with us. The photo below is of the first trip we had to the vet in Feb 2015. When Daphne and I were much younger. My son still young, my daughter not even in our minds yet. Before we bought our first home, before all the promotions and career changes. Before we even had found our footing as a family. I found Josie on the street while training for my First marathon. I’ve done 25 since. Life changed so much, yet she was the same every day. Loving us.
We’ll never forget what she meant to us.
