A little impromptu bunker shot lesson I sent to one of my students.
•Open your feet 45° from target
•Open your club face to where the leading edge is slightly right of target
•Keep your knees down and stable so you make solid contact with the sand and prevent from raising up out of your shot.
•When your arms get parallel to the ground on your swing, speed your hands up to get through the sand.

Note: your club doesn’t actually touch the ball on most sand shots. You hit the sand first and the sand then forces the ball up and out of the bunker.
