Rugby Relief

Rugby Relief Tackling one disaster at a time. Anyone is invited to both request to join our effort, and to recommend a family which needs some extra hands.

We invite you to join our efforts of aiding individuals and communities in taking the first few steps towards recovering from devastating situations, free of charge. As rugby players, we have the opportunity to capitalize on our network and physical strength to reach out to our communities, and communities of our peers on the pitch, to provide aid to friends and families. Currently the command cen

ter is run, in collaboration, by members of the New Orleans Halfmoons Women's Rugby, Louisiana Lagniappe Womens Rugby, Austin Huns Rugby, and Austin Valkyries Womens Rugby. Aid is provided free of charge for families. Traveling rugby players are kindly hosted by local players, and much of the gear support is graciously provided by donors. Rugby players and friends gather by taking time off of work and putting miles on their vehicles, taking time away from their own work and family lives. Monetary donations help us keep this going by providing provisions such as tools and food for volunteers and families. Contact us if you'd like to donate. Physical donations are also accepted. (example: clothing, toiletries, books, tools, etc.)
