ICYMI: Senior Savoy Guidry was spotlighted recently. We are looking forward to another great school year and cheering on our Tigers, both in the classroom and on the field.

Savoy Guidry used to run his mouth as fast as the wide receivers he practiced against — back when he was a freshman.

Regionals Runner-Up 🥈

Holy Cross Golf showed up in a big way, finishing as Regional Runner-Up, led by Fulton Pigeon who brought home Individual 1st place with a 74 (+2).

Next stop: State Championship.

Congratulations to the Holy Cross golf team on a hard-fought 159–161 victory over Brother Martin. The Tigers were led by 8th grader Brandon Fuselier’s even-par 36, continuing to set the tone for the squad.

With the win, the team improves to 4–1 this spring and looks ahead to Thursday, March 26 as they take on St. Augustine and Joseph Bartholomew.

We are proud to announce Mark Songy as our next Director of Athletics!

With more than 30 years of Catholic League experience, multiple Louisiana Coach of the Year honors, and a state championship to his name, Coach Songy has already brought a championship standard and proven leadership to Holy Cross, and now he will lead our Athletics Department forward.

He’s built winning programs. He’s formed young men. He understands what excellence looks like, and how to sustain it.

Anthony Oubre ’26 brings home the title as the 2026 LHSAA Division I State Champion at 132 lbs 🏆

A commanding 6–0 decision showcased Anthony’s dominance and focus from start to finish. Locked in. Locked down. State gold secured becoming a 2x state champion. (first victory in 2024 at 113)
