**Second showcase in the books!** 🥎💙
This weekend, we competed in the Heart of Dixie Exposure Tournament in Fultondale. It was a "cool" 87 degrees with no wind, no clouds, and sunshine that felt like it was melting your skin off. ðŸ«
Our record may say **0-4**, but exposure tournaments aren't about wins and losses. They're about challenging yourself, competing against elite talent, and finding out what you're capable of. These aren't cupcake games. We faced teams loaded with high-level athletes, with many players already committed to college or expected to commit in the next few years.
As the **only C-class team** in a field of **27 teams**, one thing we can proudly say is this: **we never got run-ruled.** We competed every single game.
Throughout the weekend, we had our highs and our lows. We made mistakes—both physical and mental. We watched confidence slip away at times, but we also watched it come roaring back. That's growth, and growth is exactly why we play weekends like this.
The compliments from college coaches, tournament staff, and umpires meant a lot. They were incredibly impressed that this team has only been together for **three months**.
As a coach, a parent, and a very retired player, I couldn't be prouder of these girls. This weekend I saw growth. I saw resilience. I saw heart. Most importantly, I saw the love of the game shining through again.
We may be unknown. We may be small. But one thing is certain...
**You won't forget Alabama Core.** 💙🥎🔥
