Built around a combination of VALD ForceDecks testing and athlete-reported wellness data, GRIT Readiness helps athletes connect the dots between how they feel, how they perform, and how they recover.

In less than a minute, athletes complete a simple readiness check-in covering key factors such as sleep, soreness, fatigue, stress, and overall recovery. That information is then paired with objective performance data collected through a simple Counter Movement Jump (CMJ) to create a clear picture of how prepared the athlete is for the day ahead.

The output is simple.

😎Summer is here. Separation season has begun.

The athletes who make the biggest jump this fall don’t guess—they measure, monitor, and attack their areas of opportunity.

At GSP Labs by GRIT Sports Performance, summer is about understanding where you are today so you can build a plan for where you want to be tomorrow.

Through sports science testing and analysis including Body Composition (Bod Pod), Metabolic Testing Metabolic Rate (VO2/RMR), force plate testing, movement analysis, speed, power, vision, reaction, and neuro assessments, we help athletes identify strengths, expose weaknesses, and track progress throughout the offseason.

We also provide access to recovery modalities that help you get more out of the work you’re already putting in—because adaptation happens when training and recovery work together.

GRIT Specialist (Part-Time | Potential Full-Time)
New Castle, PA

GRIT Sports Performance is hiring a motivated and energetic GRIT Specialist to join our growing team at GSP Labs.

We’re looking for someone with a background in sports performance, athletic training, physical therapy, strength & conditioning, exercise science, or a related field who is passionate about athlete development, recovery, and innovative training.

Responsibilities:
• Work hands-on with athletes of all ages and levels
• Assist with recovery modalities and performance services
• Conduct and support sports science testing protocols
• Help manage athlete data, metrics, reports and performance insights
• Build relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and teams
• Support daily facility operations and organization
• Assist with outreach, partnerships, and athlete/team engagement

Preferred Background:
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced athletic environments
• Knowledge of recovery modalities, sports science technology, and performance metrics is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a team-first mindset

Schedule:
• Mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Part-time with opportunity to grow into full-time

With the NFL Draft happening tomorrow, we wanted to drop some of the insights from our 2026 Draft Prep Class in partnership with Grossetti Performance. 🤝

This was measured, intentional development built for the highest level.

Every athlete came in with a goal:

What we proved:

She LITERALLY gave everything she had.

and when she came to, there was only one thing on her mind:
