Wilmington WolfPack — In Memoriam
The Wilmington WolfPack sends our deepest condolences to the NJ Pitbulls family and everyone who knew and loved Coach Nick Costanza.
Coach Nick was a head coach, team owner, NEAFL Hall of Famer, National Champion, and winner of countless regional championships.
Simply put, Coach Nick was the standard of semi-pro football.
His accomplishments speak for themselves, but his impact went far beyond championships and trophies. For so many of us in this football community, he was a father figure, a mentor, a friend, and someone we could always count on.
He helped build this game. He helped shape organizations, coaches, and players. And whether you stood beside him or across the field from him, you respected what Coach Nick represented.
The semi-pro football community has lost one of its legends, but the standard he set and the lives he touched will carry his legacy forward.
Rest easy, Coach Nick. 🕊️🏈
