Headed out in 2 directions today and man it was a tough choice.. Isaac Bauman is headed back to Farmer City Raceway in his #81 UMP ProMod and Joseph Oliver is headed to Spoon River Speedway - Kart Track for the 3rd round of AJC Illinois Speedweek .. Originally dad was headed with Isaac but thanks to pawpaw Ed Bauman and Lucas LeBlanc from Brandon Sheppard Racing filling in, dad is going kart racing! Seemed unfair to split them up after the success they’ve had the last 2 nights! Mom got our coolers packed and fresh clothes after we got home at 2 am! Been a blast to thrash each day and make a race every night in the kart. Follow both boys on MyRacePass this evening!

Man what a night!! We debated just about every opting laying on that door all night long even bolted one on took it back off.. called my brother rattled my ideas to him at 100mph and he told me you’re over thinkin it.. in the end it was a simple set of Hoosier Treads. Sent a message to a friend JR Curtis and he pointed me in the right direction on gear and stagger..

Joseph Oliver took care of the rest! He went 2 for 2 tonight in the predator class in round 2 of AJC Illinois Speedweek at ViolaBoyz Backroad Speedway. Thank you to Adam and his staff and the staff of the racetrack for a great surface and a smooth fast event!

Thank you to Barnes Power Plants for that great pred speed and Phantom Racing Chassis for building a great piece! JRC Performance came is clutch for their great lineup of prep products and advice.

Round one of the AJC Illinois Speedweek and Joseph Oliver got his first win in Pro Predator 375 at Exit 7 Motorsports Park. We were testing and tuning different things all night! Ran p2 in the warmup class for points and hit the right combo in the feature and got us one in the money feature!! Thanks to Barnes Power Plants for the pred motor speed! Had that Phantom Racing Chassis MINEcon on point too!! Gonna need a wheel and an axle but that’s racing! Parts run tomorrow from the quad cities 😆🫣

Proud dad for sure as I’m sure everyone heard in my live feed! Thank you to everyone who helped us look over kart and try to get a wheel and tire swapped! On to ViolaBoyz Backroad Speedway tomorrow for round 2!

Got all the biscuits in the basket!! Jim Tomlin Motorsports and us are about to head 👆north to Exit 7 Motorsports Park for the first round of AJC Illinois Speedweek tonight!

We had a great day at Spoon River Speedway - Kart Track today! Thank you to Trent Ross and Rachel Ross for their hard work and another great track!

We didn’t get to qualify today so we went off pill draw. Started front row outside of heat and fell to third. After 1 and 2 had contact racing for the lead it handed us p2 for the finish..

Rolled of p3 in the feature and battled for the lead first few laps and ended up p2.. great race and kart was fast just looking for a tick more speed. We are excited to start Illinois Speedweek and see what we got! See everyone Wednesday night at Exit 7 Motorsports Park!!
