The heat changed our schedule just a bit, here is the plan for the rest of week;
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 4th-6th grade full pads

3rd grade same schedule that was planned Tuedsday & Thursday.

Practice Schedule for this week:
Aug. 24th 5:30-7:00 Half pads 4th-6th
Aug. 25th 5:30-7:00 Full Pads 4th-6th 3rd Grade Helmets only
Aug. 27th 5:30-7:00 Full Pads 4th-6th 3rd Grade Helmets only

Tuesday Aug. 25th 3rd graders need to meet at the rec building at 5:30 to get fitted for helmets.

Here is the practice schedule for our first week. Please meet at the rec office so we can check out helmets before practice.

Monday Aug 17th 5:30-7:00 helmets only

Wednesday Aug 19th 5:30-7:00 helmets only

Thursday Aug 20th 5:30-7:00 half pads

This will be for the 4th-6th grade team. 3rd grade will join in on the fun next week.

Due to lack of numbers we have decided to move leagues and join the Solomon Valley Football league. This will put us all on one team 4th-6th grades. Practices will start August 17th. Our first game is September 12th. Here is a tentative schedule:

Sept 12 at Ellis
Sept 19 at Lacrosse
Sept 26 at Wakeeney
Oct 3 vs hill city @ ness city
Oct 10 vs Stockton @ ness city
Oct 17-18 playoffs TBD

This was not an easy decision by the board to switch, looking at future numbers this was going to be a multiple year issue. We thought it was for the best to keep our older program in tact. This league has great rules to watch the safety of a 4th grader playing a 6th grader.

Going to be a great evening to come cool off and join the football team. Private swim party 7:00-8:30 tonight see you there!

Mark your calendars we are kicking off the football seaon with a little fun. Swim party at the Ness City Pool Aug. 3rd 7:00-8:30pm. Come join the team, practices will start soon after. This is open county wide 3rd-6th grade. We will have 2 teams 3rd-4th & 5th-6th.

Had a great turn out for the youth football camp. 3rd-4th grade numbers are big. 5th-6th grade are limited, if anyone is on the fence about playing we would love to have you join.
