Wolfson Children's Challenge is on Saturday January 29, 2022. It includes the following events: 55k Relay, 55k - Ultra Solo, 30k - Ultra Solo, 1 Mile Fun Run, and 1 Mile Fun Run No Shirt.

Feeling accomplished and proud!

These two pictures were taken pretty much one year apart. Ive spent a lot of time mixing things up weight lifting wise, running schedules and refining my nutrition and the way I fuel my body. Not always easy but the results speak for themselves!

I am proud of my accomplishments and the best part is I feel amazing and I’m doing it all for me!

No filter and a lot of courage…

Was rockin the crop top under my tank for most of my workout, trying to work up the courage to shed the tank…

It took over half of my workout and moving to the back corner of the gym to ACTUALLY shed it.

I work hard day in and day out. So why is this the hardest part of my workout?!?

Yes I’ve run a couple marathons (maybe 6) but I’m always looking to educate myself and improve.

Since I just recently signed up for my next marathon, with my dad, I decided to try something different.
I read this book a couple of years ago and decided this marathon would be the one I try the plan. I’m excited to start my next marathon training plan tomorrow with the new schedule.

Yes it’s all about balance!

Yesterday I tackled a hot, hill run… yes it tested my endurance, hydration, and overall mental strength. But I completed it.

So today I tackled a slow flow yoga… Yes it was slow, mindful, and tested my mental strength. But I completed it.

It is all about body balance! Working hard one day and knowing when to take it easy the next day. True strength is all about the balance!

I use to think my dad was crazy when I was little…running marathons and competing in triathlons.

Fast forward some (many 🤷🏼‍♀️) years and I suddenly found myself running. Then, not only running but competing in marathons and triathlons.

So then what was the natural progression…

Dad and I competing together! We knocked out our first half marathon together in December 2020 and NOW we are ready for the next step…

We have both just registered for in December 2021! Excited to train and complete this next step together. Dad racing at 68 side by side with me at age 40!

A family who runs together!
