Today’s the day!
Here’s a final schedule of the evening, which is attached. We are recommending that Juniors who are participating in the Grand March and Coronation arrive at The Pines Banquet Hall, which is part of the Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse, no later than 6:15.
Junior Grand March and Coronation will take place at 6:30, and is free for all to attend! We are asking that spectators stay clear of the tables set up for the students. There will be a large area for standing in the back. Families will also have time before and after Grand March to take pictures both inside and outside on the patio ☀️
Dinner will follow Grand March, and we will make an announcement asking students to be seated around 7:00 for an Italian Buffet Dinner. When dinner is over, the dancing will begin!
Since this is a school sponsored event, all school rules apply, this includes that students are not permitted to wear sunglasses inside. We also require that all students be checked-in no later than 8:30, or they will not be permitted into the dance. Once a student leaves the dance and goes to their car, they are considered as "leaving" and will not be permitted back into the dance. We ask the students bring anything they might need during the dance in with them, such as a change of shoes. There is a coat room to store these types of things. Personal water bottles, energy drinks, etc., will also not be permitted into the dance. These guidelines have been put into place to keep all of the students safe, and they are based on our past experiences with teenagers and dances 😀 . We greatly appreciate your understanding!
We are very excited for an evening of great food, dancing, fun, and spending time with friends. We can't wait to show off our hard work planning this years event!
