Signups for Naugatuck Babe Ruth summer season will be this Sat. May 2nd from 10 am til 2 pm at the Dunkin on Main St in Beacon Falls. All HS and Middle school players are encouraged to sign up at this time. Players ages 14-16 are eligible to play. If you are from Naugatuck, Beacon Falls, Prospect and any surrounding towns that do not offer Babe Ruth you are eligible to play. All returning players should sign up at this time as well. Sad news to share... one of our former players and who I coached personally for 3 yrs has passed away. Matthew Sherwood was a great kid to coach and grew into a great young man and business owner. Our condolences go out to his family. Mark Kichar , Meghan Smith, Kimmy Beth. There is a go fund me available to help the family with costs if anyone would like to help. Matt is the one laying down on the ground...lol
