When I was pregnant with my second child, I decided that I wanted to make him a blanket. So I took the internet and rediscovered the craft of crochet. Having made gifts for family and friends, I was encouraged to share my craft with others, and so "The Crochet Cove" was born. I have made everything from your basic headband, to hats, scarves, blankets, and even stuffed animals. While most of my off

erings are designed by others (and credit will be given where due for the beautiful patterns), all are crafted by my hand, with love, for your use and enjoyment. All items are made to order and customized to your specifics.

I spent the earlier part of the day in the city of while my son visited a high school. I enjoyed some quiet knitting and breakfast at a wonderful local coffeehouse/bar/restaurant . Listen, if you love small town Christmas movies, take a day trip and have some delicious food and drinks. Coffee was AH-MAZING and the bagel 🤌🏾. I’ll definitely be back there next time I’m down there. Also treated myself to some locally hand dyed yarn, but more on that later. 😉

Hey y’all 🙋🏾‍♀️ Have I mentioned that I find creating content wholly overwhelming?

We’ve been back to work for a couple weeks now smh it’s back to the grind. However, now that youth football season is officially over, I have time to dye. ☺️

First slide is just proof that s**t happens…and even though I’ve dyed this color, A LOT, during can be unpredictable. So I’ll have these oopsies with me next Sunday, December 7th at the National Harbor Holiday Market in Oxon Hill, MD. Come find me. I’ll be wearing the hat in Slide 3. 😉

Slide 2 is a reminder to keep dreaming, keep pushing, keep going, and trust God.

Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, however you chose to celebrate, if you celebrate.

Nothing new here. Just some color combos I was looking at earlier…reminding myself of who I am. I hope you all are doing well. To my fellow furloughed employees, hang tight. I hope you are finding the relief that you need. 💜

As for me, I’m finally almost finished crocheting a shawl. I definitely had to rip out 300 stitches after missing a row in the pattern. 🫠

The workout that almost didn’t happen because I went to the gym and didn’t feel like sharing space with others. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Came home and knocked it out. It’s been like 12 days since I worked out…unintentionally. But anyway…. Legs done. 💪🏾
