Throwback Thursday to a really fun day trip to East Jesus and getting to be bendy with all of the crazy art in the middle of the desert. I would love to go back here sometime… there was so much to see!

Some people would probably find me to be a very annoying travel companion because I like to do bending almost everywhere I go, especially if there’s a unique backdrop that can compliment my shapes.

I’m grateful that I have people in my life that don’t mind my weirdness and actually seem to appreciate it from time to time.

Happy Friday!

Feeling pretty in this bubblegum pink set with my favorite, the oasis bra and these soft, comfy pocket leggings. The matching fleece is so cozy, making it perfect for layering during the winter months.

Life lately…

February has been a very busy month filled with fun performances, time with friends both old and new, cultivating new relationships, nature moments, consistent contortion training, and squeezing in as much self care time as I possibly can in between all of the things.

Even though life has presented me with some very difficult and challenging emotional moments this month, it has also felt very abundant in so many ways with experiences that half left me feeling happy and fulfilled. I’ve been learning a lot about myself and doing a lot of inner work while also trying to appreciate each beautiful moment as much as possible.

Happy Friday! Definitely have summer on my mind lately…

I love bending on rocks by a beautiful beach. It’s simple pleasures in life that truly feed my soul. I had a day off from teaching and performing today, and it was much needed.

I have a busy day tomorrow, so I took time to do things for myself today and just enjoy being present. This was a fun little escape to Cabo last year. Which shape is your favorite?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Remember that love comes in many forms, and today does not have to be only about the romantic love that is generally associated with this particular day.

Enjoy being with yourself if you don’t have a significant other, and take time to appreciate all of the love that you have in life, no matter what form it takes.

Enjoying the weird and wonderful art that is scattered around The Salton Sea… anytime I find a doorway, I feel the need to make shapes and do a little stretching. I haven’t been posting much, but I’m still out there doing my thing whenever I can.

Bendy Z handstand…

I’ve been working on this shape a lot over the last 3 years, and I’ve gotten much better at longer holds. I’m pretty proud of all the hard work I’ve put in over the years as a yoga practitioner and now a contortionist/movement artist.

Self discipline is key for me in order to be able to find success with this art form… daily training and consistency are super important. Over the years, this has meant prioritizing myself and daily movement over most other things, including my social life at times.

However, it’s definitely good to have that balance between spending time with others and doing your own thing… finding happiness in life is so important. Handstands bring me a lot of joy, so I practice them every single day no matter what. Each day, remember to do at least one thing that feeds your soul.

I love a good cherry red moment in the sunshine… the weather has been so glorious lately that outdoor bending has been necessary.

I love this new set… the leggings are both comfy and sculpting, and the top is so cute with the contrast white piping.
