Something meaningful began to take shape this weekend. A dream I’ve carried quietly for years shifted in a way that felt both unmistakable and beautifully unspoken.

Two days. Two boroughs. A million moments to savor. Tons accomplished. Connor settling into his new solo place in Brooklyn, a space that reflects the man he’s become—capable, grounded, and fully owning his life. Shannon thriving in Manhattan, navigating the city with confidence, grace, and a fire that’s all her own. I’ve been here, in the thick of it with them—unpacking, lifting, laughing, listening. Not just helping to make a comfy peaceful nest, but witnessing their ever-evolving lives. Their independence isn’t new; it’s been years in the making. But every visit is a reminder—of prayers answered, love poured in, and the faith it takes to let them keep becoming exactly who they’re meant to be. This time is a gift. Not just the big milestones but the in-between moments—the fast walks holding on, coffee talk, the silence of hard work, late-night laughs & the knowing looks that only a mother and her cubs understand. ❤️ Hi from Naples, FL! Thank you to all our sweet friends & fam for checking in, for your messages, good thoughts & prayers! Just 2 miles from Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, we are doing well here. 🙏Not to say it's been an easy few days with all the anticipation & prep, but we are positive & opted not to evacuate. With all our prep & Eric in his element at the prep helm, we are as ready as can be for power loss or to bug out to neighbors 2nd story if needed. While the eye has passed, we are getting the back end high wind & surge now. Winds are expected highest 55mph-70mph+ tonight from 11pm- 3am so hoping we still have power (AC!) but are ready and have a generator to help our neighbors too. The pups are calm & don't like going out in the rain but such is life. It's a weird limbo with most of our plans cancelled to focus on all this but we stay grateful, resilient & faithful knowing this too shall pass. Sending all our love, prayers & positive energy to those struggling right now near & far. Call on us for help as we are always here for you. We treasure & appreciate your care, concern, love & prayers. 🙏🤗❤️ And remember we have a mighty God, our ever present help in times of trouble who instructs us to “fear not.” Peace be with you. ❤️🙏

18 years of love, learnings, lessons. You pointed me north, high & inward prompting my trust in your eternal love & God's guidance. The ache remains and yet you are here. You show up & show off in delightful unexpected ways & the moment you crossed over, I knew you'd always be with me. Thank you Dad. You taught me strength in softness, advocacy for those without a voice, deep empathy & action, resounding resiliency & faith & family forever. I love you. ❤️
