🎣 KBN State Classic Recap 🎣

Congratulations to Wakely & Gunner on wrapping up the Kentucky Bass Nation State Classic with a 2-day total of 10.75 lbs, finishing 18th overall.

It was a challenging tournament that demanded patience, focus, and determination to stay committed to a tough pattern through two full days of competition after two days of practice. While it wasn’t the finish they had hoped for, the experience and lessons learned will only make them stronger.

As a team, there’s just one event left on the schedule—the TBF Worlds & Nationals right here on Lake Cumberland. Good luck to all of our Cumberland Elite anglers, and as always, tight lines! 🎣

🎣 Day 1 Recap – Kentucky Bass Nation High School Classic 🎣

Wakely & Gunner wrapped up Day 1 with 3 fish weighing 6.31 lbs. After a few costly mistakes and some tough challenges throughout the day, they’re still sitting inside the Top 15 heading into tomorrow.

A cleaner day on the water is all it takes. Good luck and tight lines to Wakely & Gunner as they head into Day 2—we’re all rooting for a strong finish! 🐟💪

Off we are to Kentucky Lake! Unfortunately only one out of the 4 of our qualified teams are attending, but Wakely and Gunner will start practice Sunday morning. Competition starts Tuesday and ends Wednesday, so we’ll keep you posted! Thank you to all of our sponsors and tight lines!

Saturday, one boat from Cumberland Elite, consisting of Wakely Keller and Layne Hughes with Bo Bishop behind the wheel, competed in the MLF event on Barren River Lake and finished with 25.87lbs for the day.
