Oklahoma Shock 2k18 is a competitive 8U softball team based out of Northeast OK.

Happy 7th Birthday to the baby of our team and one of the toughest little girls we know our Chaney girl! 🩵 She might be one of the youngest on the squad, but she plays with a whole lot of heart! Chan is always ready to step up with a clutch hit, make a big defensive play, and keep second base locked down. Nothing scares this girl, and she proves every time she steps onto the field that big things can come in small packages! We are so thankful for the energy, toughness, and personality she brings to our team. We 🩵 you so much, Chan, and hope your 7th birthday was every bit as fun and special as you are! (Even though you had to spend it at prac🤪)

Last week, our girl Lou received an award at school for her outstanding character!
And this is one we are absolutely NOT surprised by. Lou is the kind of kid who is just as special off the field as she is on it. She has a big heart, is a great teammate and friend, and carries herself in a way that makes the people around her proud. Awards like this mean a little extra because they recognize who you are, not just what you can do. 🥹🩵

We are SO proud of you, Lou! Keep being exactly who you are and continuing to set the Standard everywhere you go! ⚡️

THE ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM SELECTIONS ARE IN… AND THE SHOCK GIRLS SHOWED OUT. 🤪
These girls deserve EVERY. BIT. OF. IT. They showed up. They COMPETED. They made big plays, came through with HUGE hits, and stepped up when their team needed them most.

Kynzlee Owens — Offensive Tournament MVP
Haylee Ermler — Defensive Tournament MVP
Lakin Elam — Tournament MVP
AND IT DOESN’T STOP THERE… ALL THREE earned a spot on the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM! Proud is an understatement. Keep working. Keep competing. Keep showing up. & most importantly KEEP SETTING THE SHOCK STANDARD. ⚡️🩵

First tournament of the fall and the Shock girls went straight to work. ⚡️

4-0.
60 runs scored.
22 runs allowed.
UNDEFEATED. 😤

These girls played HARD all day and showed exactly what happens when everybody contributes. We had MVPs left and right, big plays all over the field, and girls stepping up when they were needed most. We are so super proud of this whole team!

The standard stays the standard.
ALWAYS A GOOD DAY TO BE SHOCK. 🩵⚡️

Fall debut. These girls are Arkansas bound. ⚡️ The wait is FINALLY over SHOCK girls are back between the lines this Saturday and ready to compete!

Both teams had a great practice today and can’t wait to hit the field this weekend!
