Who said golf is boring??? It certainly wasn't today at Regionals with 25 mph wind and 2 playoffs!!! Senior June Tigert of Mustang stood alone at first place with a 71. Junior Allison Sell and senior Charter Lawson of Mustang tied for second with a 72, resulting in a one hole playoff. Lawson birdied and took 2nd and Allison parred for 3rd. Freshman Maddie Luitwieler shot a 73 and was in a 3 way tie for 4th with Anna Mikish, from Choctaw and SouthMoore. Maddie and Anna Mikish survive the first playoff hole with pars and both par the second playoff hole. Maddie then secured the win with a birdie putt, placing 4th and Mikish finished with a bogey for 5th. Rounding out the team was Senior Karlyn Willis, with a solid 78, Maddie Herron, 82 and Jordyn Altenburg 85. Edmond North took 2nd place team and secured their entry into the State Championship at Muskogee Country Club next week. We are so proud of ALL of you girls!!!

Edmond North Girls Golf take 2nd at Conference! Maddie Luitwieler shot under par, 69, to lead the team with a 2nd place finish. Followed by Allison Sell with a 74, for 5th place, Maddie Herron with a 78, Jordyn Altenburg, 80 and Karlyn Willis 84. Also, Maddie Luitwieler, Allison Sell and Maddie Herron made the All-Conference Team! GOOD JOB HUSKIES!!!

Edmond North Girls golf team had a solid showing today at the Del City Invitational - the team placed 3rd overall. Maddie Luitwieler and Jordyn Altenburg shot 74's to lead the way for the team. Karyln Willis followed with a 78 and Maddie Herron with an 83. Good Job girls!!—

Edmond North Huskies win the Lady Jaguar Invitational with an impressive team score of 300!! 4 girls in the 70's!!! Allison Sell led the team with a 73 and tied for top honors which led to a 3 hole playoff with June Tigert of Mustang. Maddie Luitwieler and Jordyn Altenburg both shot one stroke back from the leaders, 74, to tie for third and Karlyn Willis shot a 79 to tie for 6th place! The best part was seeing all of the girls support Allision in her playoff - helping her warm up and cheering her on! Gotta love these girls!!!! Let's do it again today in Enid!!
