We would like to congratulate Senior Zina Stoltzfus on receiving an honorable mention for the All-State team!
Zina’s efforts on and off the field will be a hard void to fill and it was a true honor to coach her these last two seasons!

The girls fought hard today.
We started slow in our quarterfinal match against Norwalk and battled back at the end to fall just short 15-19.
In our consolation match we battled through some injuries against a relentless performance from Mason City and fell short 7-19.

We couldn’t be more proud of these girls this season. We took girls from two programs and created a team that fought together until the end!

My apologies for the miscommunication on the live stream today. The stream can be found at https://www.youtube.com/live/Tj_m9qcgK0c?si=M2F9KWH42EAGD5-F
Our first match is at the 01:05:00 mark and our second match is at the 02:33:00 mark.

LAST PRACTICE OF THE SEASON!

One last practice before we head to the STATE TOURNAMENT this Sunday!

A huge thank you to the Muscatine players and coaches for teaming up with us this season! We’ve made great memories, built team chemistry, and made new friendships along the way. Rugby brought us together, and we’re grateful to have shared this season with you!

Now it’s time to put in that final effort and get ready to compete at STATE! Let’s finish this season strong and make it count!

ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. STATE BOUND!

Senior spotlight as we head into the State tournament!

Zina Stoltzfus Class of 2027

Zina has been a two year leader for our club and has really led by example. She has been a sponge when it comes to learning the game and we can’t wait to see where her rugby journey takes her!

The girls are heading to State!
We go in to state as the 6th seed and will face #3 Norwalk at 1:00 on Sunday in Cedar Falls.

This year has pushed our limits. Started with light numbers and had to combine with Cedar Rapids Prairie Rugby Club to compete to providing our own transportation to all games. These girls have a LOT to be proud of!
I will post later in the week with live stream information, but for now we celebrate our girls!
