❤️🖤 TO OUR RATTLER FAMILY 🖤❤️
Tonight, we just want to speak from the heart.
First, thank you to everyone who came out today, cheered for our kids, supported our coaches, encouraged our players, and stood beside us through the heat. We know the game ran longer than expected, and we truly apologize for the extra time.
But today, we had to make a choice — and we will make the same choice every single time:
OUR KIDS COME FIRST. ❤️
With the heat and conditions we were facing, our players and referees needed additional time for water, hydration, and cooling down. As hard as it can be to pause and watch the clock continue to run, there is nothing more important than making sure every child and every official on that field is safe.
These boys work hard. They practice hard. They give everything they have when they step onto that field. They deserve for the adults around them to make sure they are taken care of. 🏈❤️
We also want everyone to remember that Rattler Youth Football is a volunteer-based program. The people you see working the field, concessions, gates, chains, coaching, organizing, setting things up and cleaning things up are volunteers who are giving their time because they love these kids and this community.
Are we perfect? Absolutely not.
Are we always willing to learn? Absolutely.
Are we willing to listen? Absolutely.
We welcome your suggestions, ideas, and feedback, and we will always do our best to make this program better. But we also welcome something else…

If you have an idea, don’t just tell us what could be better — come be a part of making it better with us. We can always use another set of hands, another helping heart, and another person who believes in these kids.
At the end of the day, we’re all here for the same reason:
