Two years old and already learning some BIG skills! 🥹💦

Watching these little ones grow in confidence, learn to move through the water, and discover what their bodies can do is the BEST! 🏊‍♂️✨

One lesson at a time. One skill at a time. Building confidence through competence. 💙

🎉 One year old and already showing off some BIG skills! 💙

Yes… there are a few tears. 😂 But here’s the amazing part: even while upset, he’s still able to roll into his float and maintain it independently. That’s exactly why we practice these life-saving skills.

The goal isn’t perfect smiles—it’s building the muscle memory that can help save a life if the unexpected happens.

So pardon the crying… and celebrate the floating. 💦👏

Today is World Drowning Prevention Day 🌎💙

As a swim instructor and a mom, this message is one I carry close to my heart: Drowning is preventable.

A few simple steps can make a life-saving difference:
💙 Enroll your child in quality self-rescue swim lessons.
💙 Stay within arm’s reach and put your phone away when supervising.
💙 Designate a dedicated Water Watcher at pool parties.
💙 Secure pools with a four-sided fence and self-latching gate.
💙 Learn CPR and encourage other caregivers to learn too.
💙 Use U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets on open water.

It only takes a moment for a tragedy to happen—but layers of protection can help prevent one.

Let’s work together to keep our little ones safe in and around the water. 💙

There’s nothing sweeter than watching a little one relax into their float all by themselves. 💙

This independent float is the result of lots of practice, patience, and hard work. While it may look simple, it’s an incredibly important skill that can help keep a child safer around water.

I couldn’t be more proud of this little swimmer and all they’ve accomplished. Every milestone is worth celebrating! 🌊✨

If you’ve been thinking about swim lessons for your little one, now is the perfect time to start building confidence and life-saving skills in the water.

There is nothing sweeter than watching confidence grow… one float at a time. 💙✨

This little floater is learning one of the most important water safety skills there is: the ability to relax, float, breathe, and wait for help if needed.

Floating isn’t just a milestone—it’s a lifesaving skill that gives children a chance in an unexpected water emergency.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn how to self-rescue. Watching moments like this reminds me why I love what I do. 🩵

Just hanging out like a little ⭐️ starfish. 🩵

This float is so much more than a cute photo—it’s a life-saving skill. Teaching children to relax, roll onto their back, and float gives them precious time if they ever find themselves in the water unexpectedly.

The best safety gear isn’t something they wear… it’s a skill they carry with them.

🐶 Leave the doggy paddling to the pups like my new furry friend, Zeke-not your kids. 🏊💙

Doggy paddling might look cute, but for children it’s not a reliable or efficient swimming skill. It often keeps their head high, body vertical, and tires them out quickly—especially if they unexpectedly end up in deep water.

Instead, we want children to learn real water survival skills that help them stay calm, breathe, float, and move with purpose.

At ISR, children learn age-appropriate self-rescue skills designed to help them respond if they ever find themselves in the water alone. Confidence starts with the right skills—not just staying afloat.

So let the dogs do the doggy paddle… and let’s teach our kids to swim smarter. 💦

Rain or shine, progress doesn’t stop! 🌧️💙

This little one is calmly floating through the raindrops like a champ! Water safety isn’t about perfect pool days—it’s about building real, life-saving skills and confidence in all kinds of conditions.

Every float practiced is another step toward a child who knows how to respond if they ever find themselves in the water unexpectedly.

Rain can’t wash away these hard-earned skills! 🌦️💪
