Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moto Mommas!

Sophia 2nd 🥈 Girls Super Mini
Rough start, she had some bike issues first couple laps. Got them taken care of and she did her best to hustle. Overall She said she liked the track.
She tried the Women’s Expert and got 2nd as well. After a fall Her throttle was sticking so she was held back a while. Got it fixed and got back to pushing again to have a better lap time.

Dean 4th A Lites
Had a good start, came in 3rd into the woods.
Track was rough for him. Had a few mishaps throughout, but was able to still finish in one piece.

They might have not brought home First place for me today, but if I can have them come back in one piece, thats a win for me.

What a weekend it was! Double a header this weekend.
Extreme XC racing Shewdog Showdown on Saturday.
MWXC Oliver Hunting on Sunday.

Sophia 1st 🥇 for both days.
Saturday she was last of the start. She quickly got the bike started and pressed forward. She was able to come up and make the pass for first where she kept the lead. After that she participated in the powderpuff race on a pitter bike, something she’s never rode before lol.
Sunday she had a great start, but ended up falling on the wrong turn onto some logs entering the woods, where she fell back to second. Once she got up and going she worked hard to get back up to first. She had a few minor mishaps throughout the race, but she made it through the race. Bringing home the win.

Dean 🥈 for Saturday & 🥉 for Sunday.
Weekend was decent for me was hoping for a win at either race but we ended up 2nd at the Extreme xc made 1 mistake and that was all it took for 1st to put a gap on me and from there just rode my race.
On Sunday at the Mwxc i went into the day with confidence and knowing i could win race started off pretty well as i went into the woods second stay on the leaders tail until once again made a small mistake costing me time to catch up i made a charge to catch him at the end and took a chance on one spot to gain time and i ended up crashing out of second picked the bike up still had him in sight and made the charge to the end and wasn’t enough so took 3rd place was pretty disappointing but at least i know i got the speed and the endurance just gotta put the pieces together and get that win. With all that being said we’ll push forward the next race and get that W!

IXCR - Cross Country Racing

What a great weekend to ride and race!
Double header for us. Saturday we did a Family Enduro AMA District 14 Enduro Broken Spoke Family Enduro. We are proud of Dean & Sophia for giving it their all for the IXCR on Sunday after riding 35 miles.

Sophia 🥇 Super Mini Girls
I had a great start taking off, winning the Hole Shot Award. I was leading into the woods and about 2 miles in, i fell and got passed but i kept pushing and finally made the pass for first, the track was super fun and flowy had a few mud wholes but made it through the track. 1st in class, 24th overall out of 100 riders.

Dean A Open 10th
“Well i decided to try and race a real man’s bike, a 350 with a faster class and let’s just say i’m no match for those guys in A open nor am i a match for a 350 i tried to find a good pace all race but couldn’t find one so i just rode it home for a 10th in class and 43rd overall and i’ll be headed back home to A lites and on a 250 see you guys next round.”

Round 2 Riverbend Rally Extreme XC racing

What a great day for racing!

Sophia- Girls Super mini 1st 🥇
She didn’t have the best start, but when she got it started, there was nothing holding her back. She was able to quickly gain her position up front. She never looked back from there. She said it wasn’t a bad course, but she was having trouble with arm pump, but was able to push through it. She’s had trouble with that the last 3 races, somehow we need to help with that.

Dean- Alites 3rd 🥉
Had one of my best starts of the year so far, tried to stay in the front of the pack, but the pressure got to me and ended up crashing out of the pack. Picked the bike up and thought to myself at least give it your all from here and sure enough i found a flow and ended the day in 3rd in my class outta 10 and 10th overall out of 177 people i hope to keep this momentum goin and hope i can lock in a championship and a win this year.
