A huge THANK YOU to all the racers who trust our engines and everyone who continues to support us. We appreciate every one of you and look forward to keeping the momentum rolling!
Sometimes I stop and look around the pits and see PDQ shirts, engines, and people supporting something that started as a dream of mine. Honestly, I can’t believe what this has grown into, and I’m incredibly grateful for every one of you.
I’ll be honest with you guys. I’ve been balancing a lot for a long time. Marriage, remodeling a house, working on my second master’s degree, teaching, and now becoming a dad. Some days, it feels like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I haven’t been able to make it to the track nearly as much as I’d like, and some days are harder than others.
I’m also my own worst critic. I want to be the best. I want PDQ engines to be the best. I’m constantly pushing myself to improve, and sometimes I put more pressure on myself than I probably should.
But then I look around the pits, see you guys running our engines, wearing our shirts, and supporting what we’re building, and it reminds me why I do this.
You guys make all the long nights, hard work, and sacrifices worth it.
PDQ Powered is about a lot more than building engines. It’s about the people who believe in us, the racers who trust us, and the community that continues to support this little business that has grown into something I never imagined.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Whether you run a PDQ engine, wear a shirt, recommend us to someone, or simply cheer us on, it means more to me than you know.
