Let me tell y’all something…

What I’m not going to do is sit in a room with the lights off, the door closed, and my mouth open talking about somebody who isn’t there to speak for themselves.

And I’m not even going to stay in the presence of someone who gets comfortable gossiping about other people.

Because I’ve participated in it.
I’ve witnessed it.
And I’ve felt the fruit of it.

Gossip may feel small in the moment, but it produces division, distrust, confusion, and broken relationships. And baby, I’m too grown, too healed, and too focused to keep entertaining conversations that poison the room.

The moment I see that spirit show up, I’m gone quicker than Sonic grabbing rings. 💨

Proverbs says a gossip separates close friends and betrays confidence.

So no, I’m not available for the whisper circles, the “don’t tell nobody I said this,” or the conversations dressed up as “concern” but rooted in mess.

If I can’t say it with love, truth, and accountability, I’m going to say less.

Because a trustworthy woman knows how to guard her mouth, protect peace, and leave what doesn’t honor God.
