Now, with the intro done, I just finished the assembly of my DLX Storm 250. It seems stout enough, pretty well built. It took my wife and I(I'm 68 by the way), about 3 hours total to complete the task. Hey, I'm old, I'm slow. :) Anyway, after changing the shipping oil(which was a slight amber color), I tried starting it(after putting a few drops of gas in it). It cranked and cranked. Ran down the chinese battery. So, last night, I charged the battery and today, it still cranked until the battery was starting to run down a bit. I put a little bit more fuel in it. Cranked some more. Finally, it ROARED to life. But here's the problem, it's at 5000 rpm at idle. There is a a screw on the side of the carb that should be the idle screw. It does nothing. I turned it both ways, and the idle was still at 5000 rpm. Now, a few variables. I know that most engines from China are jetted "lean". Another is I'm at 2400 ft elevation. Also, I did not oil the air filter, yet. I just wanted to get it running first. What am I missing? Does anyone have any suggestions? Advice? This really seems like a nice bike, just need to get that idle down a few thousands rpm.. I hope you enjoy the page here. Looking forward to more owners and interested people here. :) Thanks
