The inaugural season on the turf officially comes to a close with Triad’s walk-off victory in the Super Sectional.

From the Foster no-hitter and 2 Bollhorst bombs on Opening Day, the walk-off against Tolono and the clutch AJ Miller home run against Mahomet…this field saw a lot of memorable moments in the 2026 season.

Just a sneak peek of big things to come for this MTZ program…

Due to today's weather and a scheduling conflict at Millikin tomorrow night...the Super Sectional game between Normal U-High and Troy Triad will now be played at Mt. Zion, hosted by Millikin University.

Mt. Zion's Connor Fox started their highly anticipated Regional matchup with Mahomet in emphatic fashion...leading off the top of the first with a ! He also earned a complete game victory on the mound in the Braves' comeback victory.
