Congratulations to our very own East Chargers coach Bryce Clements.

Today, Bryce completed his National Guard contract and officially begins his Active Duty service in the United States Army.

Bryce has been an incredible asset to our Charger football program, serving not only as a coach, but as a mentor and a positive example for every East Charger football player.

Bryce will be missed tremendously, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. We wish him nothing but success in this new chapter, and we hope that one day he finds his way back to our sidelines.

Today, we came up just short of our ultimate goal, but that doesn’t define this team, and it certainly doesn’t measure the growth, heart, and success these players have shown all season long.

Every practice, every rep, every obstacle, this group continued to rise. They pushed each other, supported each other, and became a stronger family because of it. That kind of growth doesn’t disappear with one game. It becomes the foundation for what’s next.

And what’s next is a group that will be back hungrier, tougher, and more determined than ever to finish what they’ve started.

To our players, coaches, and families: thank you for pouring yourselves into this season. Your support, sacrifice, and belief in these young Chargers made all the difference.

The future is bright for Bullitt East. And no matter the outcome, it’s always a great day to BE a Charger.

You stumble, you come up short, but you rise, stronger, hungrier, and more committed than before.

You persevere. You sharpen yourselves daily. You stay unwavering in pursuit of your goals, determined to turn dreams into reality. Never satisfied with yesterday. Always ready for more.

This is what happens when you believe. This is what happens when you buy in. And tomorrow, you take on that final climb toward everything you’ve worked for.

Last night, BE head coach Coach Kendrick stopped by to speak with his future Chargers, and tonight we were honored with a visit from former UofL standout and NFL player Reggie Bonnafon.

Hearing both of them share their experiences about big games, preparation, and the lifelong memories made with teammates, both at this age and at the high school level, was powerful. Our players truly appreciated the wisdom and encouragement.

Tomorrow, your 7th and 8th grade Charger football teams travel down I-65 to Bowling Green High School to battle in the Final Four of the KYMSFA State Tournament!

Everything these players have worked for since spring comes down to this moment. Every practice, every rep, every play, game, leads us here.

Both teams are just two wins away from a state championship, but tomorrow’s game is the one that matters most.

Let’s pack the stands, bring the energy, and show these Chargers that their community is behind them every step of the way!

Aiden has been named the 2025 7th Grade Region (1) Player of the Year! 🏈

This is an incredible honor, voted on by coaches across the Region. It’s a true testament to Aiden’s hard work, talent, and the amazing group of teammates who push each other to be their best every single day.

It’s a Great Day to BE a Charger! ⚡️

Huge congratulations to our 7th Grade Chargers who handled business today with a dominant 36-0 victory!

Both of our Middle School teams are now headed to the Final Four of the KYMSFA State Tournament!

We’ll soon find out who our next opponent will be, but one thing’s for sure, we’re not done yet.

Let’s pack the stands next Saturday at Bowling Green High School and cheer on our Chargers as they battle for a spot in the State Championship Game! 🏈
