The calves (lol cause I still see them as babies) are jockeying for position in their fresh bed. Red (9 months) didn’t hesitate to find his spot- and held very determined he wasn’t giving it up, even to Annabelle.

Blue (8 months) and Heifer w no mane 🤷‍♀️ (7 week) were snuggled in tight.

Angel (1 year next week) using Red as a pillow and Annabelle (1 on 7/4) only worried about the hay pile access 🤣.

I love these guys and enjoy the view while milking. They are such love bugs.

RAW MILK AND LACTOSE INTOLERANCE 🥛🧐🥛: Lactose intolerance and maldigestion of pasteurized milk are significant factors for many people who choose raw milk. Pasteurization inactivates enzymes and also denatures proteins, and consequently pasteurized milk induces digestive discomfort in many people.

I highly recommend that you temp your refrigerators. Even if it feels cold, there’s a good chance It’s not in the optimal range. I’ll put a link in the comments to the Wi-Fi thermometers that we have and love, you can see them from your phone and they’re super dependable..

Starting to put up hay for the winter, but the girls said they had to quality assure it…. They approve!! We need to put up 1000 square bales and 220 round bales (can you guess what every weekend will look like lol) With hay shortages, increased fuel and fertilizer cost we have to start early to source highly quality hay. We strongly believe what you put into them helps for healthier horses and cows, calves and more delicious milk.

Happy Tuesday to our milk customers:

If you have any planned vacations in June please reach out so we can put it in the calendar.

We will be drying off 2 cows- taking us down to 4 in milk early part of June.

We are trying to plan production and adjust schedules early to accommodate.

We will start calving end of June. It takes a few weeks for them to get in the groove w a new baby and for milk testing to be done but we will be back to full swing and taking wait list beginning July 4th.

Cows had a pedicure day.. ❤️ foot health is so important and we make it a priority. We can’t thank Wallace Hoof enough for their superior knowledge and work. Sent 15 through today ❤️ plenty of Jersey drama to make the time go bye.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Had the best Mother’s Day in years!!

These kids made it so special.

Matthew worked all day yesterday and got the arena groomed!

Molly made me breakfast.

Boys and dad put up new fence.

Matthew cleaned saddles while we delivered milk.

We rode ❤️

Saddled Onyx for the first time.

Now unfortunately it’s 845 and just starting to milk so dinner will be about 11 pm but well worth it! (Smoked Brisket 😱🙌)

Just a magnificent weekend. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you to my amazing kids for making it so special.
