The most amazing feeling on your fitness journey is realizing you once couldn’t do something and all the consistent work you’ve put in months/years later is paying off and now you are stronger, better, faster and watching your body composition change and doing stuff you weren’t able to do before. Happy Friday!! As the end of the week is approaching I want to remind everyone that some days the focus looks different. For example I focused on a short strength training session followed by getting my 10k steps in. That was today’s focus. Tomorrow will be primary focused on upper body strength training and upping my protein intake. Whatever your focus may be you got this! When you focus on the change instead of the result big things happen

As a trainer and glute specialist training the lower body and adding movement in has become very important to me. Why you may ask? This is my why. After recovering from a back injury and thinking I wouldn’t be able to walk again I discovered the key to healing was strength training and focusing on my steps. Nothing else seemed to help. Not meds that were prescribed, not even physical therapy. In pt they were having me over stretch the areas that seemed aggressive to my situation. Strength training plus movement were the key to my healing. If you are someone that struggles with hip disfunction, hip and back problems, weak glutes or you just sit a lot at your job in general I encourage you to move and strengthen those areas. Happy Tuesday!! Just a reminder that having a healthy fit body isn’t enough you must also have a healthy mindset.

Mindset is everything. Change the way you approach fitness. Instead of having a “I have to mindset shift it to “I get to workout today. I get to improve my health. What a blessing it truly is to be able to move your body. It’s a gift. 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

You experience endorphins, it transforms your body, it becomes medicine to the body. Our bodies were made to move and thrive on movement and helps give you a better quality of life while slowing down the aging process
