No stand help = A closed stand.

I have already made a modified menu as this is the last week and trying to make things easier on the help. But if there is no help or not enough help I can not open. It takes more than 1-2 people to run the stand.

I have heard many of many complaints this year how upset people are that we made parents help in the stand this year. Well this right here is why. So I’m reaching out again for help this week.

It’s take a community to help these things run and to help our program to become better each year. We can not do this alone.

⚾CONCESSION STAND HELP NEEDED ⚾

As we wrap up the season with make-up games, we need a few volunteers to help keep our concession stand running smoothly!

We are looking for 4 volunteers for each of the following shifts:

📅 Monday, June 8
🕕 6:00 PM👤👤👤
🕗 8:00 PM👤👤

📅 Tuesday, June 9
🕕 6:00 PM👤 👤

📅 Wednesday, June 10
🕕 6:00 PM 👤👤👤

📅 Friday, June 12
🕕 6:00 PM👤👤👤

Even if you can only help for one shift, it makes a huge difference! Our concession stand helps support our players and league programs, and we can’t do it without our amazing volunteers.

Drop a 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ in the comments or send us a message with the date and time you can help.

👤= one person! Will add as people volunteer so you all know how many we still need for those day!!

Let’s finish the season the same way we started it—together! 💙💛

Appreciation post!!!

As most people already know that my right hand man just had her baby last week Chevelle Atherton, since then I have had a group of girls jump in with no questions asked and last minute. I want to give a huge shoutout to Tayler Massey Natosha Briggs, Taylor Brooke, Sabrina Bowman

You girls are simply amazing and the stand would not be running without your help and support. I appreciate you girls more than anything for allowing me this time so I don’t miss my boys playing!!

Can you believe it we are almost done with our first week of baseball! What a week it has been. I just want to say I have heard many different things this week regarding the stand volunteers and I’m here to help clear some things up and hopefully stop some of the rumors as well.

-Yes each team is dedicated a week to help get volunteers.

-No you as a parent do not have to cover every day. We are only asking for you to work one of those days through that week that best works for you.

-No it does not have to just be a parent, it can be a family member, friend, teen that you know needs community service hours for school, anyone you would trust to fill in for you.

- Yes we do offer an opt out fee of $40

- No that does not mean you have to pay $40 if you have more than one child on different teams. It’s just $40.

-if you do pay to opt out, it is your responsibility to inform each team that you have paid and to also inform of which team you payed the money to. This is incase it gets lost in translation. We are all human and things get overlooked and people forget.

-lastly if we do not have volunteers to help cover, the stand will not open.

So to clear things up we are only asking for you to work one day, one game, two hours. I understand a lot of people are upset over this new rule, but over the last several years we have little to no volunteers. We have the same 4/5 parents that will help when they can and the rest of the time we have to pay for help. Every time we have to pay for help that comes out of the money we are trying to raise to pay for umps, pay the water bill, pay the electricity, pay for the food and drinks, pay to help keep the fields maintained and keep improving every year.

I know it’s a cold one today but get out and show these girls some support!! Showing up means more than anything!!
