I was recently made aware of this post on Michigan Tresspassery caught on Cam. Here was my response:
My name is BILL MANGAN, this is MY TRUCK and I have 100% PERMISSION to be on the road where this picture was taken.
One of my son's friends told him that he saw this post on Facebook. It was posted on Michigan's Tresspassrs caught on Cam. I was advised of this post on 11/8/2025.
First of all, I do not trespass!! I have 100% permission to be on the easement road to my Buddies Cabin, where that picture was taken. Also this was not the first time I've gone to my Buddy's Cabin.
Second of all, if I was going to trespass, which I DO NOT, I would not be using my truck.
I have a logos of my business (Mangans Cast a Fly) on my truck. It has my business name and website listed. My website has my full name, biography of myself, phone number and complete address.
On that easement road there is a gate, which my Buddy originally told me to make sure I shut, after going through, and I do. There are signs, which I'm fully aware of, at the gate saying there are cameras.
I am fully aware of how easement roads work. I have a Cabin in Curran Mi, which is on an easement road, which people have a right to drive on, as long as they have permission from an owner on our road.
When I found out about the trespassing post I checked OnXhunt and saw that the owner of the property, where the gate is located, had the same last name as the individual who posted the complaint against me.
I sent that individual a message, with all my information, the same day I was made aware of the post 11/8/25. I explained who I was and how I have permission to drive on the easement road and I would like a chance to talk with him.
I advised him that I was not happy that there are people out there thinking I'm a trespasser. I told him I would appreciate it if he could give me a call, any time, so we can straighten this out and set the record straight.
Also that I will be going through there again and I would like to be able to let him know who I am and what I'm about.
Unfortunately, as of today 12/3/25, I have not received a response from him.
But, in the meantime, I want to clear my name and let everyone, who saw this post, know that I am not trespassing, I have full permission to drive on that easement road to my Buddy's Cabin.

The false post has been removed from the Michigan Tresspassers caught on Cam page. I don't know if it was removed by the site itself or the person who posted it . I'm not sure how that works with Facebook . Either way, I'll take that as a WIN.
Thank you sincerely to everyone for your support and kind words !! I have not yet heard from the person who posted this but hopefully we will come to an applicable resolution, when we meet someday at the gate.
