A champion scorned.

It’s no lie that if Tim hadn’t passed away, Dale Earnhardt would not of won as many championships as he did.

5 years after Tim Richmond passed away, one of his good friends was asked if he missed racing with Tim.

That friend was non other than Dale Earnhardt.

Earnhardt responded that he missed Tim period, because Tim was one of his friends.

While drivers like Dale, Kyle Petty and Bill Elliott missed their good friend. It seemed others wanted to forget Tim Richmond. Forget that he even existed.

Especially NASCAR

We will discuss this more in the near future. But until then here is one of my favorite pictures of Tim.

Tim Richmond built his foundation in dirt-track racing, winning the 1978 USA Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year award before transitioning to open-wheel racing in 1980.

Tim Richmond was one of the first drivers to switch from openwheel racing to NASCAR stock cars full-time. He started racing at age 21, he competed in the 1980 Indianapolis 500, and won Rookie of the Year. He moved to NASCAR, where he won twice in 1982 and shared the title of "NASCAR's Driver of the Year" with Dale Earnhardt.

My name is Tabitha, and I am one of the Owners and Admins of this page.

The main goal of this page is to get Tim Richmond inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I don't care how long it will take; my goal is to get him inducted!

He had a very short career but was very successful.

Over time, you will see pictures, some never-before-seen pictures, and you will also learn a lot about Tim.

The highs and the lows. All of it.

I need all the help I can get.

My boyfriend Patrick is also an admin of the page. His mom worked for Hendrick Motorsports and worked alongside Tim for 4 years. So this is more personal for him.
