---Just a reminder, "The Foul Rule" will be in effect for this Friday and Saturday tournament. If you foul the opposition more than 3 times, meaning if your team picks up a 4th foul, the opposition gets 1pt. If you foul the opposition more than 6 times, meaning if your team picks up a 7th foul, the opposition gets 2pts.
---Another rule that will be imposed this coming weekend will be if the score ends up being 11-10 at the ending the game, both teams will select 1 player to shoot 3 free throws. The best of 3 wins that game. Each player shoots if you end up tying with free throws. No same player shoots twice. If your team scores 11 and the opposition is two or more points behind, then your team wins w/o shooting free throws.

Starting this Tuesday I want to start praying before we get started with basketball. I feel that we need it more than ever. Also, I want to discuss the rules and regulations for next week's basketball tournament. I hope to see yall at 7pm this Tuesday.

Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th, we're going to host a two-day tournament at MACC. No more than 4 teams. No more than 8 players per team. Friday will be a round robin type format to determine the seeds for the next day. Saturday will be a double-elimination type format. Times to be announced later. No prizes, just for fun. Basketball tonight at 7pm. Remember, we are enforcing the new rule tonight. With that being said, if this rule gets abused like calling fouls that are not fouls, we'll have to put basketball on hold for awhile. Everyone, have a blessed day and I hope to see yall there tonight.

New rule for basketball on Tuesday nights

If the game is to 15 and you commit more than 3 team fouls, the other team gets an automatic 1pt. If you exceed more than 6 team fouls the other team will get automatic 2pts.

If the game is to 21 and you commit more than 4 team fouls, the other team gets an automatic 1pt. If you exceed more than 7 team fouls the other team gets an automatic 2pts.
