What a turnout for 2026!

We have officially surpassed 320 ATHLETES across all MBYFL divisions, giving us a RECORD turnout and the most teams we’ve ever had throughout our divisions!

We can’t thank our families, coaches and volunteers enough for the response this season. We’re looking forward to a full, competitive year of football, and we can’t wait to get started! 🏈πŸ’ͺ

🚨 SENIOR REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 19 🚨

⭐️ IMPORTANT MIDDLE SCHOOL ELIGIBILITY REMINDER

🏈 6th graders ARE eligible to play in MBYFL regardless of their middle school roster designation. Making a middle school roster does NOT affect a 6th grader’s eligibility to play with us this season.

🏈 7th graders who are rostered on ANY middle school football roster are NOT eligible to participate in MBYFL.

As everyone gets back into the school routine and middle school football gets underway, make sure August 19 is on your calendar. πŸ“£

With middle school tryouts taking place, our Senior Division operates on a slightly different timeline due to Middle School tryouts. Senior players will have TWO opportunities to attend an evaluation before the draft.

🏈 MBYFL 2026 IMPORTANT SEASON UPDATE

As we get closer to the start of the 2026 season, we’d like to share some important information regarding assessments and the upcoming draft. Please take a few minutes to read through the information below.

Rookie, Peewee, and Junior athletes will have FOUR opportunities to attend an assessment, while our Senior Division will have TWO assessment opportunities. Players only need to attend ONE assessment to be draft eligible.

πŸ“Œ Important Assessment Information

Each Rookie, Peewee, and Junior athlete is required to attend ONE assessment to be draft eligible. Senior athletes will also need to attend ONE of their two scheduled assessment opportunities.

The following athletes DO NOT need to attend an assessment:

β€’ Athletes who have been selected as one of their head coach’s automatic picks.

β€’ Returning Junior Division players who are returning to their previous roster.

Returning Junior Division players who would prefer to reenter the draft instead of returning to their previous team may do so. Please notify the league prior to the draft so we can make the necessary arrangements.

All other athletes are expected to attend ONE assessment before their division’s draft.

🏈 Draft Information

Following the completion of assessments, each division will hold its player draft.

Parents, please be advised that requests for a specific coach are not guaranteed. The only exception is if your athlete has been selected as one of that coach’s automatic picks prior to the draft.

All remaining athletes will be selected through the draft in accordance with MBYFL draft procedures to help maintain balanced and competitive teams throughout the league.

As we get closer to the registration deadline and the start of the season, we’d like to make everyone aware of our refund policy so there are no surprises moving forward.

Athletes who withdraw before the start of evaluations will receive a refund less a $20 administrative fee to help cover nonrefundable website processing and administrative costs.

Once evaluations begin, refunds will still be available, but they will be less a $50 administrative fee.

Once the draft begins on August 22, 2026, no refunds will be issued. At that point, teams have been selected, rosters have been finalized, and league operations are already underway.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding. If you have any questions regarding our refund policy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Be on the lookout! A big update will be going out tomorrow with important assessment dates, season information, and other key reminders as we get closer to the start of the season.

🏈 🚨 MBYFL UPDATE! VERY IMPORTANT READ! 🚨🏈

The MBYFL Board of Directors recently met and finalized several important items for the upcoming football season.

The biggest update for parents is this:

🏈 Our Peewee Flag Division (ages 7-8) is VERY CLOSE TO CAPACITY ALREADY!

Based on our current registration numbers, we do not expect this division to remain open until the August 8 registration deadline. Once we reach capacity, registration for the Peewee Flag Division will close so we can maintain appropriate roster sizes and scheduling.

⏳ If you have a 7 or 8-year-old planning to play this fall, don’t wait. Your athlete may not have a spot! Register now before all spots are filled!

Thank you to everyone who has already registered! The response from our community has been incredible, and we’re excited to see another great season of MBYFL football.
