The Lady Buffaloes season came to an end last night with a heartbreaking 32-30 loss to Gatlinburg Pittman. The Lady Buffs end the season with a 25-5 season record, as District Champions, Regional Champions, Sectional Runner-ups, and as a Top 8 team in TN AA basketball. The coaches are very proud of all the hard work these ladies have put in and look forward to what the future holds for each one of them! Go Lady Buffs!

Come out tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. to Cherokee High School to cheer these girls on! The Lady Buffs are currently in the Top 8 AA girl’s team in the state. They will be playing to earn a spot in the Final 4 and a berth to the state tournament. Let’s go girls, you got this!!💙💛🏀💙💛

💙💛AA TOP 8 IN THE STATE💙💛

Your WGMS Lady Buffaloes defeated a very good Sullivan Central team 22-17 to claim the Regional Championship. The Lady Buffaloes jumped out quick and held the lead the entirety of the game. The Lady Cougars put together a surge in the 4th quarter but the Lady Buffs went the distance defensively to hold them off. The Lady Buffs will be back in action on Monday at 5:30 at Cherokee High School. Come out and support these girls!! 💙💛🏀💙💛

The Lady Buffs won their first regional game against East Ridge tonight 45-25. The Lady Buffs will advance to take on conference foe Sullivan Central for the 4th time this season. The game tomorrow will be at 5 pm at Rogersville City School. Come out and support the Lady Buffs!!

Your District 1 AA CHAMPIONS!!! WGMS Lady Buffs put together a 4th quarter comeback against Sullivan Central tonight winning 32-30. This win gives the Lady Buffs an impressive 19-0 record in conference play and district tourney play. They Lady Buffs trailed 27-17 at the end of the third quarter but went on a 15-3 run to secure the win. The Lady Buffs are back in action Monday afternoon at Cherokee High School. Game time will be at 4:30 pm. Come support your Lady Buffaloes!! 💙💛🏀💙💛

The Lady Buffs are headed back to the district championship game with a dominating win tonight over Jonesborough 44-11. This win secures the 4th straight berth to the sectional tournament this Saturday. The Lady Buffs play for the district championship tomorrow at 5 pm at Sullivan East Middle School.
