Introducing our returning Softball President, Emma!

We’re excited to have Emma back leading the team! She’s a junior Medical Science major and can be found on the field playing outfield.

Her best piece of advice? Every Lady Vandal should play softball — it’s the perfect way to make lifelong friends, build memories, and be part of an amazing team! 💙🥎

Introducing assistant coach Sophie!

We’re so excited to have Sophie back but this time as a coach! With 12 years of softball experience and time spent playing on about eight different teams, Sophie brings a ton of love and knowledge for the game.

Sophie took the field as a pitcher and first baseman. Her favorite softball memory? Striking someone out with a changeup! 🥎🔥

We’re excited to have Sophie back to share her experience and passion for the game with our team this season! 💙

✨ Reintroducing our Head Coach, Avery! ✨

Avery graduated from the University of Idaho in 2021 with a degree in Virtual Technology and Design. During her four years at UI, she was a dedicated member of the softball team, playing both third base and the outfield.

After graduating, Avery began coaching to help out with the team—and she never looked back! Her experience as both a player and a coach brings great knowledge and leadership to our team, and we’re grateful to have her leading the way. 🥎💛
